At 92NY Camps, we want our staff to have the best summer too! 92NY’s team philosophy creates a stimulating work environment in which every staff member is valued. As a staff member at 92NY Camps, you will have such an impact on your campers’ lives. We work hard to give our staff opportunities to learn and grow both professionally and personally. At 92NY  Camps, you can enjoy the best of both worlds — live in New York City while traveling to your “office” in the country (all staff and campers bus to Rockland County on coach buses). 92NY Camps hires fun, dedicated, enthusiastic individuals who want to make a difference.

Working at camp may be tiring at the end of the day, but it is so rewarding and worth it! If you like being outside and playing in the sun, caring for children and learning skills you can use in any career, then camp is the job for you!

Staff are carefully chosen for their maturity, energy and experience with children. Counselors are entering 11th grade and older and are responsible for the safety and well-being of the campers. Counselors must be enthusiastic, caring and be able to be a supportive role model to children ages 5-14. Counselor responsibilities also include leading groups of campers and participating in all group activities throughout the day. Program aids are entering 10th grade in the fall. Program Aides “PAs” are responsible for helping ensure camp runs smoothly. This role involves setting up for lunch, supporting towel service and being a team player.
