The American Debate League Speech & Debate Academy runs Virtual programs in the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer, and is open to all upper elementary to high school students.
Additionally, in-person summer camps in New York and New Jersey, and year-round debate competitions are hosted by the American Debate League.
American Debate League:
- Provides opportunities for students to participate in competitive debate competitions bi-monthly or quarterly throughout the year.
- Provides Summer Debate Camps for elementary to high school students.
- Provides Virtual programs during the school year.
- Provides Regional Debate Centers to provide debate and public speaking education to those students who do not have access to a debate program in their schools.

The American Debate League was founded in 2014 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young people of all backgrounds with the opportunity to develop debate, speaking, and literacy skills. The league hosts debate training camps and competitions for member schools in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut throughout the academic year and summer that are designed to improve disadvantaged urban students’ self-esteem, academic achievement, graduation success rates, and access to higher education.
