The American Regions Mathematics League (ARML) is an annual mathematics competition held at four universities in the United States. Teams of 15 students from the same region or state are challenged by a diverse range of complex and creative mathematical problems that require both individual and collaborative efforts to solve. The contest format includes several rounds, such as the Team Round, Individual Round, Relay Round, and Power Round, which are each designed to test different mathematical skills and teamwork abilities.

ARML participants have the opportunity to receive awards based on their performance in the competition. At the individual level, participants can earn recognition for their scores in various rounds of the competition. The top scorers in the Individual Round and Power Round, for example, may receive awards or certificates of achievement. These awards can vary depending on the region or state and the specific prizes sponsored by organizations or institutions.

At the team level, awards are given to the teams with the highest total scores. The top-performing teams in the Team Round and Relay Round, for instance, may be recognized and honored during the awards ceremony.
