Berkeley Business Academy for Youth: High SchoolSummer Bootcamp is a 2-week intensive accelerator program for high school founders with a validated idea that has traction in revenues or users.
High school teams and solo-founders from around the globe will spend two weeks immersed in the UC Berkeley entrepreneurial ecosystem. This program is tailored to help students scale their ideas with an opportunity to:
- Scale their userbase by learning about growth hacking
- Gain real-world insights from industry professionals and guest entrepreneurs
- Build community through founder relationships and undergraduate mentors
- Measure outcomes for revenue, user growth, and partnership opportunities
- Demo growth for funding opportunities
- Immerse themselves in the hacker house experience and Berkeley startup culture
- Receive a UC Berkeley Business Academy for Youth Certificate of Completion

Cost/Compensation
- Solo Founders: $7,950
- Teams: $7,450 per person
Eligibility Requirements
- Rising 10th-12th grade students are eligible to apply.
- Students should be building ideas in teams or as solo-founder with demonstrated traction of 250+ active users or $1,000+ in revenue.

- Video Essay: Record a 2-minute video with your team pitching your business to a potential investor or customer. Tell us what problem you’re solving, who you’re solving it for, and why people are already using your product. Show us your passion and clarity about where you’re headed.
- Recommendation
- Short-listed applicants and teams will be interviewed for final acceptance
Notifications of Decisions
- Decisions will be released in March-April
