Cambridge Centre for International Research (CCIR) Academy provides rigorous online research programmes for talented high school students around the world, working with leading researchers and professors from top US and UK universities, to each produce an independent research paper that showcases academic passion and commitment. CCIR Academy provides two main programs:
- Cambridge Future Scholar Programme: A selective, small-group (2–5 students) online research course spanning 13 weeks. Students work closely with faculty mentors to complete an independent research paper, with guidance on potential publication opportunities.
- 1-on-1 Research Mentorship: A personalized mentorship experience where students collaborate individually with an Oxbridge or Ivy League faculty member to design and execute a bespoke research project. This program offers flexible scheduling and is available year-round.
In addition to its academic offerings, CCIR operates a Think Tank that supports early-career researchers, hosts public lectures, and organizes essay competitions to promote public engagement with academic research.
CCIR has also established a physical research facility, the CCIR Lab at MIT, providing students with opportunities to conduct in-person research and experiments in a state-of-the-art environment.
