This intensive online program is for high school students considering a bachelor's degree in architecture and undergraduates considering a master's degree in architecture.

It will introduce you to architectural ideas, principles, and methods of exploring architectural problems in a studio setting.

In small groups, you'll work in the studio, attend lectures, and develop skills in workshops on representational techniques and portfolio design.

The program requires no specialized knowledge beyond a serious interest in architectural design.

Program highlights:

  • Study architectural concepts of space, form, function, environment, and technology.
  • Learn the fundamentals of architecture or participate in design studios.
  • Develop architectural drawing and pragmatic drafting skills.
  • Participate in regular studio critiques by teaching associates and formal reviews by invited faculty and guest critics.
  • Build a portfolio and participate in a show of student work.

  • Six weeks from June - August

Cost/Compensation

  • $1,750 tuition per credit
  • Students enroll in two courses, for a total of 6 credits

Eligibility Requirements

  • High school juniors and seniors interested in pursuing a bachelor's in architecture
  • Undergrads interested in pursuing a master's in architecture

  • A completed application
  • Complete high school transcript (unofficial copy on school letterhead with your name on it)
  • Your most current grade report (unofficial copy on school letterhead with your name on it)
  • An application statement (no more than 250 words) about your interest in the course(s) (both first and second choices) you selected. Why did you select them? What do you hope to gain from them? Tell us about any personal, work, or volunteer experience you’ve had related to them.
  • English Language Proficiency test scores for international students

Notifications of Decisions

  • Decisions are typically made within 2 business days of when all application materials have been submitted
