The DaVinci Camp Summer Institute is a non-residential summer program that consists of three and five-week all-day sessions that integrate social and academic components from the arts and applied sciences. The program is designed to develop the interests and abilities of talented and highly motivated middle school and high school students (rising 6th – 12th grades and including graduating seniors).

  • Bay Area Session: June 5 - 27
  • Session I: July 1 - 24
  • Session II: July 18 - August 9
  • Modus Bestia: July 1 - August 9

Cost/Compensation

  • $5,700 ($9,500 for international students=
  • $8,400 (Modus Bestia; $16,000 for international students)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Rising 6th - 12th graders,  including graduating seniors
  • Domestic and international

Deadline

  • April 1
  • May 5 (for financial aid application)

  • Student Supplemental Questionnaire
    • 1 essay of at least 250 words
    • Short video response of no more than 1.5 minutes
  • Tuition deposit

DVC Academic Consulting was founded in 1993 to address issues of underrepresented student retention in engineering and applied science at universities across the United States. In 2010, it launched DaVinci Camp as one of its Summer Institute programs to provide talented and highly motivated young scholars with innovative academic opportunities that expose them to a diverse range of fields. The DVC team brings a combined experience from mathematics, engineering and applied science, geology and planetary sciences, architecture and urban planning, literature, music, and fine arts, focusing on delivering an exciting and high-value summer experience.
