Experience learning at Duke. During Pre-College on-campus programs, students in grades 6-11 enjoy an unforgettable academic experience. They study and learn in Duke academic buildings, eat in world-class dining facilities, and visit significant locations throughout campus and the surrounding area. All while they build connections with peers from around the world and learn from Duke faculty and PhD students as well as industry experts.
The program is offered in multiple formats, including on-campus, online, and marine lab experiences. Courses span a wide range of subjects, such as:
- STEM & Innovation: Cryptography, Aerospace Engineering, Mathematical Logic and Proofs, Audio Engineering, and more.
- Humanities & Social Sciences: Animal Cognition, Financial Literacy, and other interdisciplinary topics.
- Marine Sciences: Sustainability, Conservation, and Marine Biology courses offered at the Duke Marine Lab in Beaufort, North Carolina.

- One-week programs:
- Commuter: $1,830
- Residential: $2,580
- Two-week programs:
- Commuter: $3,660
- Residential: $5,640
Eligibility Requirements
- On-Campus Programs: Open to students in grades 6–11. Students born after June 21, 2012, are limited to the commuter option.
- Online Courses: Available for rising 9th–11th graders.
- While there is no strict GPA requirement, a minimum 3.5 GPA is recommended for prospective students.
