The Fujifilm/Penumbra Internship Program offers students in the NYC area the opportunity to gain artistic and professional skills by working directly with reputable artists during three-month cycles. Interns are paired with practicing artists based in New York City whose work aligns with their photographic interests and goals, and assist, conduct research, and provide administrative and technical support while learning about contemporary art and photography.
The program is designed for individuals at the beginning of their careers, either in school studying photography or demonstrating an equivalent commitment to a career in photography, who must commit a minimum of 15 hours per week for a 3-month period. Interns are paid a $3,000 stipend for full participation, plus an additional $500 to cover transportation and meals.
