Manhattan School of Music’sSummer provides instruction and performance experience for students ages 8 to 17 in a dynamic conservatory setting. Students will develop their musical skills and will join a vibrant community of young musicians. MSM Summer is a single-focus music day program. Housing accommodations are not provided. Participants can choose between the musical theatre program or the instrumental and composition program, which includes offerings for classical piano, classical brass/strings/woodwinds, jazz bass/brass/guitar/piano/woodwinds, jazz drum, composition, or percussion.

The Manhattan School of Music (MSM) is a private music conservatory located in New York City. Established in 1917, it offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in classical performance, jazz performance, contemporary performance, composition, conducting, and musical theatre. The school is situated in the Morningside Heights neighborhood, adjacent to Columbia University. MSM hosts over 600 live concerts annually and provides students with access to multiple performance venues, including the recently renovated Neidorff-Karpati Hall.
