The Morgan State University Science-Mathematics-Engineering Fair is an annual event for students in grades 6-12 in the Baltimore, Maryland area. Projects are divided into senior (grades 9-12) and junior (grades 6-8) divisions and can include categories such as physical sciences, earth/planetary science, biological sciences, mathematics, computer science, and engineering. Students can enter individually or in teams of up to three members.

  • Any student in grades 6-12 enrolled in a public, private, home or parochial school in the Baltimore, Maryland metropolitan area

  • Completed online registration form
  • Middle school students must complete the following ISEF forms:
    • Abstract (required)
    • 1 - Adult Sponsor (required)
    • 1A - Student Checklist (required)
    • 1B - Approval Form (required)
    • Research Plan (required)
  • High school students must complete the following applicable ISEF forms: 
    • Abstract (required)
    • 1 - Adult Sponsor (required)
    • 1A - Student Checklist (required)
    • 1B - Approval Form (required)
    • Research Plan (required)
    • 1C - Regulated Research Institutional/industrial Setting (if applicable)
    • 7 - Continuation Projects (if applicable)
    • 4 - Human Participants and Informed Consent Form (if applicable)
    • 2 - Qualified Scientist Form (if applicable)
    • Human Consent form (if applicable)
    • 5A - Vertebrate Animal SRC Form (if applicable)
    • 5B - Vertebrate Animal IACUC Form (if applicable)
    • 6A - Potential Hazardous Biological Agents Form (if applicable)
    • 6B - Human and Vertebrate Animal Tissue Form (if applicable)
    • 3 - Risk Assessment Form (if applicable)
