MyImpact Challenge is a nationwide civic engagement contest offered by the Bill of Rights Institute. Submission is open to all US citizens and US-based middle and high school students between the ages of 13 and 19. Additionally, the Bill of Rights Institute hosts three separate (in-person) state-level civics fairs in Arizona, Missouri, and Utah. Submission deadlines vary.
The goal of the MyImpact Challenge is to promote citizenship skills in young people from an early age and foster a robust understanding of constitutional rights. Participating students have the opportunity to be active in their communities by developing hands-on service projects that complement traditional classroom learning, and ultimately compete for a chance to win cash prizes—including a $10,000 grand prize.
