Summer Performing Arts with Juilliard are on-site performing arts intensives in dance, drama, and music. Offered in beautiful Orlando, Florida, the program allows students to dive deep into their chosen major and develop technical skills. Drama majors will have a small but potent taste of the first two years of Juilliard acting training, immersing in the experience of heightened language, physical expression, and a uniquely rewarding process of acting. Piano majors will explore the core values of performing as a concert pianist in both solo and chamber music repertoire. Voice majors will grow as complete singers in both solo and ensemble settings. Musical theater majors will explore the foundations of singing, acting, and dancing for musical theater at the professional level while developing their highest caliber of performance. Led by Juilliard's artist faculty, students will have daily technique classes, creative workshops, ensemble study, interactive seminars, and private lessons designed to nurture and develop healthy artistic skills and habits, while forming friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Around $11,050 (Including tuition, room, board and application fee)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Students must have a passion for Dance, Drama, Musical Theater, Piano, or Voice.
  • Students must complete the online application
  • Students must pay a $100 application fee or request a waiver
  • Students must be at least 12 years old and still be in high school.

  • Students must submit a video audition that includes a personal introduction as well as the audition criteria specific for your major together in 1 video.
    • Personal Introduction (1 minute) 
      • State your name, age, and nationality
      • Tell us about 1 meaningful arts experience you have had and why it was special. Do not read from a script. 
    • Audition 
      • Carefully review and follow all instructions in the major(s) to which you are applying.

The Juilliard School, commonly known as Juilliard, is a prestigious, highly-selective, private performing arts conservatory located at the famous Lincoln Center for Performing Arts in New York City. The school’s three academic divisions consist of dance, drama, and music, with music being the largest and oldest. Upon its founding in 1905, it was called the Institute of Musical Art and was one of the first musical schools in the United States. Juilliard's third president, William Schuman, was an American composer and the first recipient of Pulitzer Prize for Music. Juilliard offers undergraduate and graduate degrees, diploma programs for professional artists, and musical training for pre-college students, as well as liberal arts courses. Juilliard also hosts a wide range of performances and concerts throughout the year, including opera productions, orchestral concerts, dance performances, and theater productions. Juilliard boasts dozens of notable alumni. Some of the most famous being Leonard Bernstein, Itzhak Perlman, Philip Glass, Wynton Marsalis, Miles Davis, Yo-Yo Ma, Renée Fleming, Jessye Norman, and Robin Williams.
