Tufts University’s Tisch College of Civic Life is thrilled to offer an exciting, engaging, two-week summer experience for high school students who are passionate about making a difference in the world and having an impact on local and global issues. With a lens toward advancing equity, inclusion, and participation in civic life, the program will equip students with the civic skills and knowledge to build connections, work collaboratively, and emerge as change agents who can inspire others.
Participants will:
- Explore academic areas in which critical civic engagement work is conducted, including:
- Educational inequities and neighborhood segregation
- Environmental justice and community health
- Public policy and government
- Grassroots social movements
- Create connections between their passions and academic interests
- Engage with and learn from Tufts faculty and community leaders who are making a difference.

- On-campus participants must be age 15 or older at the start of the program

- Leadership for Social Change supports a limited number of students who are invited to apply for funding. You will be notified by email if you are eligible for this aid. No additional financial aid is available for this program.
