Write the World is an online community for young writers. It is open to writers ages 13-19 and provides a platform for them to share their writing, receive feedback from their peers, and participate in writing challenges and contests. Each monthly competition is centered around a particular idea or genre of writing, such as poetry, fantasy, or sports journalism. Students are encouraged to develop their voices, refine their editing skills, and publish on an international platform.
All students have the chance to receive expert feedback from authors, writing teachers, and/or education professionals before submitting their final piece. The winning entrant receives $100, with the runner-up and best peer-reviewer receiving $50 each. Winners are featured on Write the World's blog.
